CONTENT CREATOR

What You will Do:

• Define a social media calendar across each platform to meet the set KPI targets per platform as guided by the head of marketing.
• Research industry-related topics.
• Prepare well-structured monthly digital content and visual briefs for the designer.
• Create and distribute marketing copy to advertise our company and products.
• Interview industry professionals, happy customers, and incorporate their views on blog posts & social media content.
• Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content.
• Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement (e.g., comments and shares) for each platform: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube & Website.
• Identify customers’ needs from field visits and recommend new topics for content creation.
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles for accurate briefs for digital marketing.
• Measure traffic from all paid content and show conversion (e.g., conversion and bounce rates)
• Prepare monthly reports on post management, boost budgets and growth realized per social media platform.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to create attractive and engaging graphics to accompany the content

Must Haves:

• Filming and editing skills
• 3-5 years’ proven work experience as content creator (preferably in a global, company)
• Strong conceptual abilities, and outstanding storytelling and creative writing skills
• Ability to deliver complex messages in a simple way
• Ability to produce copy with varied messaging and tones adapted to target audiences in different geographies
• Team player with strong communication, organizational skills and time management skills
• Excellent multi-tasking skills, and ability to work at fast pace and meet timelines
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress)
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English, Swahili & native languages will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with SEO
