Job Description

Job Purpose    
The position is responsible for mapping, analysing and re-designing MDACs businesses processes and supporting deployment of improved processes in the Huduma Centres and other Huduma Service Delivery Channels. 

Requirements for appointment    
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -

  • Served for a minimum period of six (6) years in the public or private sector;
  • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines; Social Sciences, Business Administration/Management, Organizational Design or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Certificate in Business Process Re-engineering from a recognized institution;
  • Certificate in Project Management from a recognized institution;
  • Certificate in Computer Application Skills from a recognized institution;
  • Demonstrated integrity and professional competence as reflected in performance and results;
  • Met the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution; and
  • Demonstrated a high degree of professional competence in work performance and results and a thorough understanding of national goals, policies and Kenya Vision 2030 and ability to align them to the Secretariat’s mandate.

Key Duties and responsibilities    
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:

  • Participating in Business Process Re-engineering meetings with MDAs;
  • Working with Ministries, Departments and State Agencies during the process of mapping, analyzing and re-designing business processes;
  • Maintaining and updating records and databases of all business processes deployed in all Huduma channels of Service delivery; and
  • Supervising deployment and implementation of re-designed processes in the Huduma Centres and other Huduma channels of service delivery.
